Overview

Ghost Child is a fashion brand that was created by @akghostchild, who was inspired during their work at Off-White. With a strong passion for streetwear and fashion, @akghostchild decided to create a line of ready-to-wear pieces that feature the brand's iconic dice logo. The main vision for Ghost Child is centered around community, physical goods, and a virtual experience, and the brand hopes to tap into the essence of Web III to create a community-backed brand. Ultimately, the brand's vision is everything, and they are striving to create a unique and engaging experience for their customers.

"The goal is to create a community which is not simply confined to the label of Web 3 nor web 2. Under the guise of Ghost Child, great ideas and creatives are the only things that matter" - A.K.

Ghost Child is redefining the balance between tradition and futurism through experimental art, identity and contemporary culture. In the future, Ghost Child aims to articulate a cultural vision through community and high-end products, where the age of imagination is the product of reality.

History
A Thread from founder, A.K., on the history of Ghost Child:

What is Ghost Child: Bones?
Bones is a collection of 3,333 digital identities designed by Ghost Child. The mint date was 04/11/23 for a price of 0.029E - for Discord OG's, and 0.034E - for allow list. Each bones is a uniquely generated character that is stored on the Ethereum Blockchain. The NFT's were distributed via allow list winners (3,283), and 50 were held for the team, collaborators and future advisors.

These NFTs will give you access to the House of Ghost Child. All bones hold equal membership rights. Commercial usage rights of their digital identities for ALL bones holders.

The House of Ghost Child is where the community explores, builds and innovates. Under the brand name, they aim to redefine and reinvent a wholly modern approach to the internet, fashion, art and community.

Brand Vision

How Will Ghost Child Benefit Holders?
Ghost Child utility can be categorized in two ways: Tangible Value and Sentimental Value.

Tangible Value
The focus after mint will be on building the physical collectibles. The foundation of these collectibles will be built on quality and scarcity. The strategy is complex and includes building demand for the Ghost Child products, where holders will benefit from this demand through resell. Both resell of digital assets/identities but also resell of the physical collectibles - so they can be a stand-alone product. The holders will be the distributors of the physicals, which will keep supply scarce, but also drive demand for the digitals. So digital collectibles create access for the physical collectibles, which ultimately will recreate demand for the digital collectibles.

Sentimental Value:
This is driven by the community who wants to rally behind the shared vision - the build this into one of the biggest brands in the word - which is not confined to the label of Web2 or Web3. When the community's vision is aligned, they are able to connect emotionally and find a sense of belonging as the same values and interests are shared.

In the long-term, sentimental value will matter more than tangible. Being part of something you believe in since the beginning and helping write the story of the brand matters more than anything.

What is the Ghost Gallery?
The Ghost Gallery was revealed prior to mint. It's purpose is to serve as a mood-board for the Ghost Child brand.
